Makini Campbell

is a dedicated educator, counselor, and holistic life coach with over two decades of inclusive and diverse experiences. It is her belief that all people possess innate intelligences and have purpose and gifts to share to the world. She works through the idea that everyone deserves to live a life of joy.

Makini was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Daughter of Jitu K. Weusi & Aminisha Black, Central Brooklyn community trailblazers, Makini is rooted in a solid sense of community. Makini practices with over two decades of experience as a teacher and school counselor for both national and international students. She played Division I basketball in college before coaching the sport while providing personal life advisement to elite athletes.

Her overall experience as a single parent, sports parent, and professional gave her valuable insight into the importance of intentional overall wellness throughout communities at large.

Ms. Campbell is the proud mother of two sons- professional basketball player Dakari Johnson and creative Kamani Johnson; and Nani of three, Amaris LenaLee (granddaughter), Rowdy & Riley (grand dogs)

These varied experiences propelled her to become a holistic life coach.
