Makini Campbell is a holistic life coach who empowers individuals and families to cultivate wellness, balance, and purpose in every area of life. With over 20 years of experience as an educator, school counselor, athlete, and mentor, Makini brings a deeply rooted, real-world understanding to her coaching practice.

Raised in Brooklyn, NY, and shaped by the powerful legacy of her parents—community leaders Jitu K. Weusi and Aminisha Black—Makini’s work is grounded in a strong sense of service, healing, and intentional living. Her journey as a Division I athlete, single mother, sports parent, and wellness advocate gives her unique insight into the challenges and triumphs that shape personal growth.

Makini is the proud mother of two sons—both of whom played Division I basketball and now work professionally in sports—and a joyful “Nani” of two granddaughters.
